Drain Field

A drain field, also known as a leach field, is a critical component of your septic system. It disperses treated wastewater into the soil, where it is naturally filtered and safely reabsorbed. If the drain field becomes damaged or overloaded, it can lead to system failure, backups, or environmental contamination. At Bowers Environmental, we flag the drain field during jobs to protect it from heavy equipment or foot traffic that could compact the soil or disrupt the system. This ensures the drain field remains effective and prevents costly repairs.
